Stay in their vehicles
Place their waste in the trunk or truck bed - not hand it out the window or have it in their back seat
The Regional Planning Commission recognizes the great benefit to keeping toxic chemicals out of our water supplies by providing management options for unwanted chemicals like cleaning products, paint and paint related products, automotive fluids, and much more.
2015 was the last year we collected medicines with Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) at our Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection as there are many other options every day at police stations around the region. FREE to residents from Claremont, Cornish, Enfield, Goshen, Hanover, Lebanon, Lempster, Lyme, New London, Newbury, Newport, Orford, Piermont, Plainfield, Springfield, Sunapee, Unity, Washington, and Wilmot. Other residents and businesses welcome for a fee. ANYONE with 25 gallons or more must pre-register by calling. Any Business 2-week pre-registration.
