Saint-Gaudens NHP is building relationships with local middle school students entering grades 6-8 by offering learning adventures that foster awareness and stewardship of the history, ecology, culture, and are in their communities. Registration is due by June 1st, but spots may still be open later than that.

Pasturing calves and heifers on high forage, low grain diets while using low cost simple fencing. Dealing with the summer pasture slump, and facing the challenges of transitioning a farm to a young farmer owner. Baird is a Master with the Dairy Grazing Apprencticeship and the programs growth in the region will be introduced to participants. Organized through the UVM Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship (DGA) Program.

Join Dawn and Upper Valley Land Trust staffer, Alison Marchione, as they lead a program about monarch life cycles as part of the 2019 International Monarch Monitoring Blitz!
Actively search milkweed plants for monarch eggs, caterpillars and adults. Observations will be recorded on data sheets and uploaded into the Mission Monarch database. All equipment will be provided. Please wear long pants and sunscreen and bring water and some snacks. Bring your lunch and have a picnic afterwards. See you there!
