    Are you dedicated to conserving the natural resources of Sullivan County or our agricultural heritage? Our board is made up of farmers, businessmen, and concerned citizens. We meet with the Sullivan County NRCS District Conservationist and the SCCD Staff once a month to discuss projects and programs. This is a volunteer position. If you are interested in becoming an associate board member, please contact the Conservation District.

    The Conservation District will call each customer when your order is ready and schedule a pick-up day and time. You may send someone in your place to pick-up your order if you are in the high-risk category for COVID-19. If you are unable to pick-up, we may be able to deliver.

  6. Riparian Buffer Planting Project

    April 28, 2020 - May 2, 2020

    The Conservation District will be assisting Fruhlingsfarm in Claremont with planting a 1000' riparian buffer along Spring Farm Brook. Riparian buffers stabilize streambanks preventing soil erosion, provide habitat for wildlife and reduce flood damage. Let us know if you are interested in helping out. We will be following all federal and state mandates related to COVID-19.
